96: Challenges on That Impractical Jokers Show at What Level?

One issue with that Impractical Jokers show is about the unconvincing way the show is introduced from the start. It is introduced as being a show about guys competing against each other. Then the guys themselves keep saying in their challenges that the challenged person should say whatever he is told to say. Unless they reveal some unknown rules controlling these challenges, they are very far from being convincing as challenges to each other at the level they are claimed to be. It is hard to think that there is a person given the power to make a second person says to other people whatever he tells him would not be able to make that second person suffer much more sever and serious consequences than what goes on on that show. It is like watching a tennis game while being told that there is no limit on the court size of each side. How then would not serving the ball much farther away make sense?
Putting each other in difficult position is not synonymous with challenges at the individual level and doesn't need to be to be appreciated. For example, although in many acrobatic activities participants increase the difficulty on each other they are presented as group not individual level challenges.

95: Prearranging things on that Family Feud Show?

If watching some of the black contestants suddenly guess far fetched answers and win the game was not enough reason for suspicion, yesterday I saw what highly increased that. A white family had higher points until the final game and guess what that game was? It was about names starting with the letter "P" or something like that which was a far cry from the preceding ones. For example, the one that came just before it was about guessing what a pirate school would teach. And of course the black family guessed all the answers correctly and took the game (I did not pay much attention to it but the fast answers round which that family also won also sounded at less than the usual level). It seems like there was an arrangement on the go for one side here that had both giving the answers and reducing the difficulty level of the game.

94: these should come standard

I kept doing two stages cleaning after nature calls starting with toilet papers first until they clogged the pipes. Now that I installed and used a bidet I wish that big clog happened earlier.

93: Jujube fruit types

I have recently learned of a tree being cultivated, probably more in the desert like areas, here called the Jujube. The types chosen of this tree seems to be overwhelmingly the Indian or the Chinese. I wonder if those who make such choices had tasted the middle eastern type of this kind of tree and gave proper weight to the deference in taste and not just that the latter fruit is significantly smaller than the other two. I have not tasted those other two types of this fruit but I read that it resembles apples or dates (depending on ripeness) while I don't remember ever comparing that third type to any of those two but instead felt a distinct taste of its own. The Arabic name of that third type is "نبق" (closest English pronunciation equivalent is "NABOK" with short "A"). Although attention should be given on emphasizing the original type of that area because that name could have been extended to those other types after they entered the markets there as well.

What happened to that show Family Feud? With the older episodes I used to look at the answers of a survey and wonder why didn't it occur to me what I missed there even though they make better sense. Now, it does not seem an unusual thing for the participants and the viewer to provide much better answers than those on a survey. If the show continues on this path then another show could be better suited to  choose that related mental capability over luck.

That Spain vs. Morocco game in FIFA World Cup also seems fake and the two teams had things prearranged with each side not really competing against the other for the best result for itself.

I hope people here notice how soccer makes sense. The same is true with basketball if we all normally move around with the help of magnets hanging our heads from the ceiling.

Continuing from the preceding post:
In addition to the ethical problem, even had there been a fixing for a neutral result for that game that was successfully implemented, whatever feelings of friendship or shared belonging that could have motivated Iran for seeking such arrangement should have instead motivated it not to hold a Moroccan team down. I still remember the days of Abdul Aziz Bouderbala and results like beating Portugal 3 to 1.

(football world Cup spoiler alert)
Although I did not feel good about that Morocco vs. Iran game because of how much it appeared like fixed (even though I was away from the TV for much of it), such unlucky combination of mistakenly scoring on yourself with not really playing to score on the opposite team which happened to Morocco was not a reason that occurred to me.

Yesterday I watched a horrible thing. Martha Stewart added honey to the syrup making for Baqlawa (Baklava)! Forget about its debt, I would vote Greece off the European Union just for this.
